Alpha's Cinderella is probably the show with the chance for the audience to interact the most! More songs, kids on stage and three villains! Children are ready to protest the injustice served up to Cinderella by her stepsisters and the Evil Stepmother, as this is often the most relevant to how a child can feel.
Cinderella as a result sometimes feels like she's not good enough, so the Fairy Godmother helps her by taking her and the audience on a beautifully guided journey called an 'emotional flood', that can invigorate all the love and joy you need in any moment. The Prince himself is not perfect and gets help to overcome his fears of dancing!
Characters that are favourites amongst the experienced Alpha audience, the show will have you dancing and singing - maybe even on stage! - for days and weeks to come.
Cinderella, Alpha's brand new musical rock concert for 2006 is based on the classic fairytale along with humour, modern songs and subtle value-based themes thrown in for good measure!

You will be pleasantly surprised how we've managed to breathe a lot of new life into this classic. Great new characters, brand new costumes and set, and all new adaptions of modern songs, this is set to be one amazing show!
Come help boo the Evil Stepmother and the Ugly Sisters (the special magic in our story enables the audience to see people on stage as they really are on the inside!), bring some cheese for Beady the mouse, and come click your fingers for Baldrick to get him to do whatever you like! Like all our shows, Cinderella has a huge amount of interaction and yell-out fun!

Prince Charming in our version is a bit of a school boy at the start - he thinks dancing and all that is pretty stupid. As he grows as a character we see him make the ultimate sacrifice. Cinderella on the other hand is of course, as kind as can be - despite the horrible treatment she gets from her stepmother and stepsisters she continues to be nice to them and is a great example to little girls of how to grow up!
There is a great sequence where the children get to close their eyes and trust their heart, as they remember how easy it is to feel Confident in any moment. In this way they can grow along with the Prince as he learns to stop being so mopey and boring and finds new skills and ultimately, a new life.

- Touring for Primary Schools in April-May 2008
- Modular set, variable width of 6 to 9 metres wide. 2 major scenes, Cinderella's Kitchen and the Palace. Special scenes include the Fireplace and the Ballroom. Fits perfectly on a stage, or is flexible to fit into a MPR or small hall
- Suitability: ages 3 to 14
- Duration: 80 minutes / Set up time: 80 minutes
- Space needed: 8m x 8m cleared space (MINIMUM)
- Power: 3 phase OR 2 power points on separate circuits
- Fog Machine: venue must have smoke detectors isolated; children with respiratory ailments should be seated at the back
- Flash Pot Pyro: creates smoke and flash for further effects; is not placed near children
- Show start: 9:15am or 1:45pm (for 1 show); 9:15am/11:30am (2 shows)
- Cast arrive at 7:45am or 12:30pm
