The story will evoke lots of laughter and sentimentality, but also update the gender stereotypes into the 21st century giving this fairytale new life whilst honouring and inspiring new ideals and archetypes. Examples of overcoming peer pressure are subtly incorporated through the key character conflicts where characters choose the 'good guys', as a new alternative rather than their peers and the past. Positive role-models & values are also strong themes in this surprisingly up to date version of the classic. A powerful 'confidence' theme is also integrated, as boys (and girls) get new learnings in how to create confidence, by participating in one of the highest energy moments in any Alpha show as they encourage the farm boy Jamie to step up and create the confidence he needs to save the Princess.
